Christy Musser Biography

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth, (Exodus 9:16 NIV). I praise God that he raised me up from the hopelessness I was in. Women of Noble Character has been a key ministry in my life that helped me understand the power of God and how to walk out a victorious life in Christ. When I met Taryn Simpson, the founder of Women of Noble Character, in the Fall of 2006 I was in a broken place. I didn't know where to turn, everything I had tried failed. I'm grateful for the Women of Noble Character who reached outside of themselves to help raise me up in God's power.

I was born on June 12, 1983, to parents Jim and Stephanie Musser in Portland, Oregon. I'm the oldest of three kids, my brother Matthew was born a year and a half after me, followed by my sister Michele only a year after that. To say the least, we had a blast growing up and when our family gets together it's always full of laughter, someone always ends up wet or eating a lot of sugar. I'm very grateful for my family.

My parents raised us kids in a non-denominational Christian home and we attended Beaverton Four square. I went to Raleigh Park Elementary School, Whitford Middle School, Jesuit High School, and Gonzaga University. During high school I was involved with soccer, track, theatre, choir, National Honors Society, and Young Life Youth Ministries. In college I continued being a Young Life leader, played soccer at Gonzaga University, and went to Europe as a kindergarten teacher. I graduated with a broadcast journalism degree.

After graduating college I moved to Hollywood, California and had an internship at Good Morning America. Currently, I work in medical sales in Signal Hill, CA, which is another testimony to God's greatness. I'm enrolled in Bible Enrichment's Ministry School and I am getting a firm foundation of what God is all about. I anticipate to see how God will direct my path and transform the body of Christ and the world in the days, months, and years ahead.
